AIM Construction
From a WIX Site to a Custom React Build

Project Overview
AIM Construction Management is a growing construction management firm that needed a modern digital presence to establish credibility and compete for higher-value contracts. The previous website lacked visual consistency, clarity in messaging, and a strong brand identity.
The goal of this project was to reposition the company through strategic branding and web design—creating a refined, trustworthy, and conversion-focused marketing website.
Goals
- Increase credibility through a more premium visual identity
- Clarify services and improve navigation flow
- Showcase project work in a clean, structured layout
- Improve responsiveness and overall site polish
Before & After
The Challenge
The previous website lacked cohesive branding, modern UI structure, and clear value communication. Navigation was cluttered and project imagery did not reinforce credibility.
The Transformation
The redesigned website introduced a bold dark interface, a refined color palette, structured layouts, and improved project presentation. Clear calls-to-action and simplified navigation were implemented to guide potential clients toward inquiry.
Strategy & Design Approach
Brand Refinement
A refreshed color palette and typography system were introduced to create a more premium and trustworthy aesthetic. The visual direction balanced professionalism with bold modern structure.
User Experience
The site architecture was simplified to highlight key services and project categories. Clear content hierarchy and spacing were implemented to improve readability and user flow.
Visual Identity
High-resolution project imagery was prioritized, supported by structured grid layouts and strong contrast to elevate perceived quality.
Build & Implementation
Original Platform
The initial site was built on WIX to get AIM online quickly, but over time it became limiting for layout control, performance, and maintaining a consistent brand system.
Rebuild (Custom)
I rebuilt the website using a custom front-end (HTML/CSS + React) to gain full control over the design system, component structure, and responsiveness. This allowed for cleaner UI patterns, stronger content hierarchy, and a more polished experience across desktop and mobile.
Results
The redesigned website elevated AIM Construction’s professional presence and aligned the brand with higher-value commercial projects. The improved clarity and visual presentation strengthened trust with prospective clients and positioned the firm competitively within its market.
